What is the biggest difference or feature of TJF compared to previous jewelry trade shows?
For more than 30 years, RX Japan Ltd. has hosted Japan's largest B-to-B jewelry trade show, International Jewelry Tokyo. Tokyo Jewelry Fes '23 Summer, to be held for the first time for three days from July 7, at Tokyo Big Sight, is a large-scale consumer-oriented (B-to-C) jewelry event.We decided to hold Tokyo Jewelry Fes '23 Summer in order to further develop and expand the jewelry industry; to encourage more people to come into contact with jewelry and have exciting experiences that they cannot have in their daily lives; and to encourage people to feel the hidden charm of jewelry.
How many exhibitors will there be this year? And about how many visitors are you expecting?
As one of the largest shows in Japan, we expect 200 companies, and 10,000 visitors.
Will there be any special events or seminars held in conjunction with the show?
There will be, for instance, talk shows by celebrities. On July 8, YOU, a TV personality who has appeared in many variety shows, dramas, and movies, will take the stage. Ahn Mika, a former Paris Collection model and model/TV personality, will appear on July 9.We've heard that "genderless jewelry" will be gathered under one roof at this year's event. What is "genderless jewelry"?
Genderless jewelry is jewelry that is intended to be gender-neutral, rather than having a design or style is appropriate for both men and women.
What kinds of original jewelry makes the wearer's personality shine?
Tokyo Jewelry Fes '23 Summer consists of three festivals: "Jewelry Fes," "Creator Fes," and "Mineral & Stone Fes." "Creator FES" will feature 100 up-and-coming artists. In this first year of this event, what are your plans and aspirations for the future?
We have already decided to hold the second Tokyo Jewelry Fes event from July 12 (Fri.) to 14 (Sun.) next year. If there is demand, we will consider holding these events in various cities around Japan in the future. Through this trade show, we will continue to provide more opportunities for Japanese consumers to discover the appeal of jewelry. By doing so, we hope to contribute to the revitalization of the jewelry industry in Japan.
